Having trouble building out your GL reports? We have an easy shortcut to get your reports built efficiently and effectively.
The Reports Wizard assists new or infrequent users in building fully functioning GL Wand reports using a combination of account segments, Report Wizard templates, and other key parameters of the Get Balance function.
The Report Wizard uses a three-step approach to build a report:
- Design Layout – Choose which criteria to show where on the report.
- Add Columns – Select from the Report Wizard Column templates any additional criteria added to the column area on the Design Layout tab.
- Add Rows – Select the row values for the criteria added to the row area on the Design Layout tab (e.g. one or more account segments).
Gone are the days when you had to begin with a blank worksheet, convert FSGs, select column headings, handle year and period-to-date details, and visualize your budget versus actuals. Now, all of these tasks can be accomplished instantly.
All users from Designer, Power through to Viewer can utilize Report Wizard.
