insightsoftware appoints Dafydd Llewellyn as General Manager for Europe, Middle East, and Africa
Strategic hire reflects rapid growth in the region following major acquisitions and customer wins
RALEIGH, N.C. – March 15, 2021 – insightsoftware, a global provider of enterprise software solutions for the Office of the CFO, today announced that Dafydd Llewellyn has been appointed General Manager of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
This appointment further enhances insightsoftware’s dedication to the region, following its three recent acquisitions of IDL Group in Germany, Viareport in France, and Bizview Systems in Sweden. insightsoftware has 15 offices in the EMEA region, serving customers across financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and analytics. In addition to acquisitions, new customer wins including McDonald’s Deutschland, Mercedes-Benz Truck Germany, and Sage Group plc have expanded insightsoftware’s business in EMEA. One third of the company’s revenue now comes from the region.
Dafydd will report directly to Joe Healey, insightsoftware’s Chief Operating Officer, and is responsible for directing all commercial operations in EMEA, leading the strategy and implementation of insightsoftware’s growth strategy, while delivering outstanding customer experiences to finance teams across the region.
Previously, Dafydd spent the majority of his career at SAP Concur, where he was the Managing Director of the EMEA SMB & Nationals business unit. He built one of the fastest growing and largest revenue generating segments for SAP Concur and led a cross-functional team including sales, marketing, customer success, and product development. Dafydd brings decades of expertise in scaling rapid growth businesses in conjunction with building diverse teams and a great culture.
