Training and Development Manager

We’re looking for a Training and Development Manager who will be responsible for delivering world-class employee development programs by being hands-on in designing, influencing and delivering innovative and effective learning solutions globally. You will work closely with company leaders, managers, and executives to implement, maintain, and monitor effective learning and development programs for our employees.  You will be equally at home developing content and facilitating in the classroom.  You will be responsible for defining and implementing training roadmaps that include developing strategy, plans, budget, programs, procedures, systems, and metrics. These programs will align with our company goals and support all aspects of employee and management training and professional development for our growing organization.  ResponsibilitiesEstablish a culture and framework for learning and developmentDesign and facilitate off-site meetings, roundtable discussions, new manager/new employee assimilations, individual coaching sessions, training sessions, and teambuilding eventsCollect course feedback by designing, conducting, and analyzing surveys, interviews, and focus groups to determine training effectiveness and necessary modificationsBuild and execute new e-learning and development programs, including leadership development and coaching, for the organizationEffectively lead, mentor, and grow a team of training and talent management professionalsSource or develop and coordinate training programs; conduct training sessions, facilitate and provide hands-on instructionSelect and partner with subject matter experts to develop and deliver effective training programs; ensure competency-based approach with robust evaluation methods for all offeringsAssist in coordinating efforts associated with leadership & management development programs to develop a leadership pipeline, including, but not limited to, session coordination, logistics, and interfacing with trainers, session facilitation, and instructional design across the organizationCompile, analyze, and report on past and current performance indicators by function and identify gaps in skills and/or competencies and make recommendations for training and non-training solutions and improvementsDesign and implement successful programs to identify talent and link employee development plans to company growth and staffing requirementsMaintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment to action CompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Deep knowledge of modern adult learning practicesStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrategic perspective with tactical implementation skillsAbility to influence a broad range of stakeholders at all levels of the organizationThrive in a fast-paced, hard driving environmentExceptional conceptual and creative skillsSelf-starter with a positive outlook and motivated attitude QualificationsMinimum qualifications:Bachelor’s in Psychology, Business, Adult Learning or related fieldTraining experience with emphasis in development and delivery of live, instructor-led, and web-based training programs and coursesKnowledge of content development to include: needs based curriculum design, program planning, program delivery, and evaluation·        Ability to identify training needs, develop training content, and deliver training programs Strong project management and organizational skillsNo more than 25-30% travel required to company locations and events
