Jet Reports announces they will be first to market in Microsoft AppSource with their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central reporting tool – Jet Reports Financials, this spring. The launch of Dynamics 365 Business Central – the official Microsoft replacement for what was originally coined Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Edition (and previously code named “Project Tenerife”), brought new opportunity to build business productivity products for this emerging marketplace. One of the main demands for businesses of all sizes and industry has always been accurate financial reporting.

Committed to developing a solution designed for use with Dynamics 365 Business Central specifically, this achievement did not come without significant work on Jet Reports’ side. Dynamics 365 in-app integrations and AppSource availability go through rigorous testing and vetting, in both technical and marketing areas, before being authorized for availability. It takes significant time and resources, along with a clear dedication to quality, to become AppSource ready.

Through this process, Jet Reports was also invited to participate in the Third Party Offers in Commerce Pilot Program, where they created and published detailed go-to-market and sales enablement materials about Jet Financials for Microsoft Cloud Solutions Providers (CSPs). These resources easily allow partners to streamline the sales and implementation of Jet Reports Financials to their customers, which means the product is Partner Center ready as well.

“Microsoft has made a lot of product announcements and changes over the last 18 months. We’ve been laser-focused on keeping our products compatible, up to date, and optimized to add the most value to the evolving Microsoft offering;” says Sam McCurdy, VP of Development at Jet Reports. “With the release of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central product, we knew we had to make a significant effort to develop a solution that aligned specifically with that market. We expanded our development team to focus on building Jet Reports Financials for Dynamics 365 Business Central, and to help ensure we passed the rigorous requirements and testing by Microsoft. We realized that our existing product could serve as a base, but that maintaining the performance people demand would take more than trying to plug our existing solution into the new cloud offering. Business Central is built to favor integrated apps for adoptability and speed, and that’s exactly what we created with Jet Reports Financials.”

To bolster adoption and improve the user experience, Jet Reports Financials will launch with a 30-day free trial that allows users to experience the app without commitment. Businesses will then be offered a low cost per user/per month to continue, which aligns directly with the SMB Dynamics 365 Business Central market packaging and pricing.

To further demonstrate a commitment to the product and space, Jet Reports will provide a series of free tutorial videos, designed to help users learn how to use the product in minutes, so they can begin building custom financial reports immediately. With no expensive training or upfront costs, Jet Reports Financials offers Dynamics 365 Business Central users a low cost, easy to use, integrated financial reporting solution.

Jet Reports Financials will be the first reporting solution available in Microsoft’s AppSource for Dynamics 365 Business Central and will enable users to simply and easily create fast, flexible, custom financial statements right inside of Excel.
